Trapped in a cob-web: National Film Award winner for the best child artist, Shweta Basu Prasad has been hogging media and public attention since the last few months for her alleged involvement in a prostitution scandal. The Makdee star was booked under prostitution charges on August 31 in Hyderabad.

2. Actor assaulted: Model, actor and Big Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan was slapped by a man while shooting for a talent show in Mumbai for wearing a 'short dress' and dancing on raunchy numbers. While the nation was taken aback with the incident, reason behind the attack had been highly debated all over.

3. She has got 'guts' too: She is a woman and has a cleavage. Actor Deepika Padukone, mostly known for her flamboyant and modern characters, proved to be not only beautiful but bold as well in reality when the world saw her stand up against sexism of a leading newspaper. So, the fourth position in the list is well deserved by Deepika.

4. End of a Fairy Tale Wedding: Hrithik Roshan jolted a nation when he parted ways with his childhood sweetheart and wife of 12 years, Sussanne Khan. While some alleged that Hrithik's rumoured relations with his co-stars was the reason, others claimed that Arjun Rampal who is allegedly involved in an affair with Sussanne, is the man behind the divorce.

Not a 'pretty' story: The Indian Premier League, which is known to be the greatest amalgamation of stardom and talent, saw an ugly episode this year as actor Preity Zinta and her then boyfriend and businessman Ness Wadia, were caught in a verbal spat which led Preity to lodge an FIR against him. While Preity was criticised for overreacting, there were her friends from the industry who stood for Pretty Preity.

6. Sex racket at Priyanka Chopra's house: The Mumbai Police recently busted a sex racket being allegedly run under the garb of a spa on a floor of an Andheri building owned by actor Priyanka Chopra. After the incident, Priyanka she was unaware of the racket and sent a legal notice to the spa owner
